DIY Pumpkin Painting
Hey loves!
Today, I am sharing with you the pumpkins my husband and I painted this year! It is one of my favorite activities to do in October. Over the last couple of years, my job has done a pumpkin painting contest, and this year I decided to bring that tradition home and paint pumpkins with Kent too. The thing I love about this activity is how creative you can get with it. I typically pop on to Pinterest for some inspiration and then try to recreate the look. This year I decided to do Cinderella's carriage, and my husband did Forky from Toy Story 4.
All you need for Cinderella's carriage is metallic blue paint for the base, white paint for the stem, blue glitter, rhinestone stickers, sparkly tulle, and light blue pipe cleaners to make the wheels. For Forky, you need white paint, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners to make a face! Super inexpensive and easy to make! I also printed off pictures of characters and quotes from the movies and placed them around the pumpkins to complete the look. It's not necessary, but it does add a nice touch to the final display :)
I also included a picture from a couple of years ago when I did a Beauty & the Beast themed pumpkin. To this day, it is still my favorite pumpkin that I've painted! :)
I hope this post inspires you to paint some pumpkins this year with your family and friends! Please let me know in the comments which pumpkin is your favorite and what your favorite Halloween traditions are. Take care :)
Love, Brandi
