“Life’s a beach, enjoy the waves”

Hey everyone!

Summer is fast approaching, and we are definitely starting to feel it already here in Nebraska! We’ve been reaching the 90s this past week. To celebrate the changing of the seasons, I decided to put together a Summer Bucket List of things I want to do this Summer. Here is my list:

Have a cookout—This season is the prime time for cookouts! The days are long and schools out. It’s the perfect time to get together with friends/family.

Go swimming—There is nothing better than sitting out at the pool and getting your tan on! My sister and I were at the pool every day as children. From the time they opened till closing. We loved every second of it! Some of my fondest memories as a child took place at the pool.

Eat watermelon—This is one of my favorite fruits! It’s so refreshing and the perfect snack for those sizzling hot days!

Make popsicles—My husband is a popsicle addict! No joke. The man eats popsicles like it’s cool. I think it would be really fun to make some homemade ones this Summer!

Camping—Summertime is the perfect time for camping. It’s warm enough that you don’t have to worry about freezing your buns off at night! ;)

Have a water balloon fight—It’s no secret my husband and I are kids at heart. If there’s one thing we do on this list it will be this one! :)

Have an ice cream date—Need I say more? :)

Go to the zoo—I love going to the zoo and seeing all the different animals.

Go to the fair—One of the activities I always looked forward to as a child was going to the fair. Not to mention I love a good funnel cake! :)

Play mini-golf—This is such a great idea for date nights and nights out as a family.

Thank you for reading and I hope you got some fun ideas out of this post.
