2020 Fall Decor
Hey Loves!
Today, I am sharing with you my 2020 Fall Decor! Fall is my FAVORITE season! I love everything about it! Although the season technically doesn't start until September 22nd, you'll find that as soon as September 1st hits, my brain is in 24/7 fall mode. The Autumn season is the most magical time for me. It's where I feel the most creative, and the season holds a lot of unforgettable memories for me. Not to mention, it also leads us right into the Holiday season, which brings me so much joy :)
Anyways, if you're a Fall lover like myself or just looking for some Fall decor inspiration, then keep reading to see how I got our house ready for the season.
We don't have a whole lot of outdoor decor yet, but I love garden flags! They are so easy and can easily be swapped out each holiday/season. I found this Mickey Mouse one at Hobby Lobby and couldn't pass it up. I love me some Disney!
For the front door, I decided to keep our Sunflower wreath up because I feel like Sunflowers are just as much of a Fall flower as they are a Summer. Plus, I love being able to use pieces that can transition between seasons.
I added this beautiful rose gold leaf garland along our staircase in our living room and put up different signs throughout the living room and kitchen. Signs are another simple but easy way to add decor to your home. I love going to the Dollar Tree to find signs because they usually have sparkly ones, and they are only $1!
I typically have some centerpiece on the coffee table, and like the wreath, I decided to keep the sunflower and rose florals out for Fall, but added in some sparkly Fall-themed vase fillers to switch it up. I also added this cute throw pillow that I found at Michaels to our couch.
You'll see that I kept the same centerpiece in the dining room as before but added in a sparkly orange placemat to put underneath it. I also added this same placemat to my floral arrangement downstairs in our basement. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked the color combo, but the more I looked at it, the more I fell in love.
In the kitchen, you'll see I have some more signs in here. I thought over the oven was the perfect spot for these smaller signs that I found at Hobby Lobby. I thought the sayings were charming and festive. Hobby Lobby also had this adorable spoon rest that I couldn't pass up. Since I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen and enjoy baking, I thought it was the perfect addition.
I also switched out the summer towels for my new Fall ones, and over by the sink, I just added some pumpkins.
I didn't add a lot of decor in our bedrooms or master bathroom. I feel like these rooms are still coming together, so I try to keep things simple in these rooms. I added this gorgeous white ceramic pumpkin to the bottom of the plant stand we have in this room for my office. I also added some smaller pictures around my desk that are not pictured to give the area some fall vibes.
I just switched out the decorative towels for these Fall ones I had from last year in the bathroom.
For our bedroom, I put together a floral arrangement to place on my nightstand. Our bedroom is a mix of gray and black, so I decided to go with darker color florals and then added in the sparkly gold leaves for that extra "sparkle". I also placed this cream-colored pumpkin next to it because I thought the pumpkin's gold specks tied everything together. Over on our dresser, I arranged some smaller pumpkins for a little pop of color.
Lastly, downstairs in our family room, I took this deep teal throw blanket that I've had for years and used it as sort of a backdrop for the new throw pillows. All of the throw pillows on this couch are from At Home. I loved the burnt orange/deep teal color combination. It wasn't what I originally had in mind, but after playing around with things, I was delighted with the outcome :)
Please let me know in the comments how you are decorating your home this Fall! When did you guys start decorating? Did you start right away in September? Or did you wait until the Fall season officially started? Either way, I hope this post gave you some inspo for decorating your home this season. Stay tuned for my upcoming post on my Halloween decor! I can't wait to share it with you!
Take care,
Love, Brandi
