Spring Tablescape
Hi everyone!
I am so excited Spring is here! I've been looking forward to some warmer weather for quite some time. One of my favorite things about Spring is all the flowers! I love decorating our home for this season with pretty florals. Today, I wanted to share my Spring Tablescape with you! It's not much, but I'm hoping it will give you inspiration if you're going to create your own!
Growing up, I used to love watching the Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee on the Food Network. She was my favorite! I loved how she always had a theme and a pretty tablescape to go along with the meal she was making. As an adult, I've definitely drawn inspiration from her show when it comes to hosting :)
We don't have much of a dining room, and our table is small compared to others. We are in the market for a new one! However, we are making do with what we have for now. Since I don't have much to work with, I kept things very simple. I knew I wanted to find some woven placemats. I've been seeing these everywhere and think they are very appropriate for Spring. I found these ones at Hobby Lobby for an affordable price. Besides the placemats, I really didn't have an idea in mind about what else I wanted to do. As I was browsing, I came across these beautiful plates! They had them in a couple of colors. After I found them, I decided to pick up some white chargers to complete the look. I loved how everything turned out! As I said, it's effortless, but sometimes simplicity is the best way to go.
I must admit, though, if I had a bigger table, I would love to add some seasonal decor and a pretty centerpiece. I think some greenery and some bunnies would look precious! Or if you're a candle lover like myself, some tea light or pillar colors would look pretty too! Someday, I hope to have a home with a formal dining room that I can use for entertaining :)
Let me know in the comments what you think of my Spring Tablescape!
Take care.
Love, Brandi
