Mama Candy’s Easter Decor
Hey friends!
How are you today? I’m happy to see the sun finally starting to shine here! The last few days have been cloudy and rainy, so it’s nice to see a little sunshine, even if it is temporary. As promised, today I am sharing my mom’s Easter Decor with you! Growing up I remember her decorating for every holiday, birthday, and special occasion. I got my love of decorating from her. For those curious about the title of this post, I refer to my mom as “Mama Candy”. The story behind that is as a teenager my friend’s nickname for me was “Brandi Candy” and I carried the nickname on to my mom :)
Mama Candy doesn’t do social media, so I’ve taken it upon myself to share her stuff too for extra inspiration! She lives in an apartment so I highly recommend looking at how she utilizes her space efficiently if you live in a smaller place. Let’s take a look at what she did this year!
KITCHEN
How cute are these salt and pepper shakers?!
I’ve noticed my mom likes to put placemats on top of her microwave, which I think is a creative way to utilize this space! Especially if you’re looking to spruce up your kitchen and don’t have much counter space!
DINING ROOM
Cute signs or wall art are always a great inexpensive way to make your home feel festive for the season! My mom usually picks her signs up at the Dollar Tree!
I love these bunny figurines she has on a shelf in her dining room. They are a great piece to leave out even after Easter is over :)
This is one of my favorite spots in her apartment! I love how she always has a fun centerpiece! The eggs in the basket is such an easy and affordable way to make a gorgeous centerpiece! The wall art behind is the perfect addition! The colors go perfectly with the easter eggs.
Do you like bright or pastel colors for Easter? I feel like I lean more towards pastel, but there’s no denying that the colors in this cross sign are stunning! I love how sparkly it is too!
LIVING ROOM
Another cute Dollar Tree sign! Also, if you were wanting to get crafty, I’ve seen people break apart these signs and use the pieces for their DIY Decor.
Pictured here is an urn filled with my grandmother’s ashes. Yesterday, was the 4th anniversary of her passing so I brought some flowers over to place next to it. My mom also likes to put seasonal decor around it as a way of remembering her.
Here is an overview of the fireplace decor
Another cute centerpiece! I really love how she incorporated both pastel and bold colors into her decor this year. The pastels are always pretty, but the bolder colors make the room pop!
BATHROOM
I love this Easter towel. It’s subtle and perfect for a space like this where you don’t want over the top decor.
BEDROOM
Mama Candy recently added some curtains in her bedroom and I think they look fabulous! How beautiful is this cross wind chime?
Here is a closeup of the wind chime.
FRONT DOOR
A beautiful sign for a beautiful home! If I’m not mistaken, this is a new decor piece she picked up this year and makes for a great front door piece!
I hope you enjoyed this post and liked seeing my mom’s home decor! Let me know in the comments which decor piece was your favorite!
Love, Brandi
