Diy Summer Sign
Hi friends!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day! I wanted to hop on here and share a fun Summer DIY with you! Being a home decor lover, I find joy in making my own decor. This DIY is so easy and doesn’t require much effort. Here is a list of supplies you will need:
wooden craft plaque
unfinished wood sign of your choice
acrylic paint
paint sponges
craft cutouts of your choosing (I chose these pretty sunflower ones)
hot glue gun
You’ll start by painting your wood plaque. Once that is painted, you will paint your wood sign. Let both the plaque and the wood sign dry entirely. Then, take your hot glue gun and glue the wood sign down. Hold it for at least 30 seconds. Next, glue the craft cutouts and hold them for 30 seconds each.
That’s it! It’s that easy! I was happy with how mine turned out! I’m obsessed with the teal and yellow combo! I think those colors look so good together and are perfect for Summer. I hung mine on the front door, but you could honestly put it anywhere in your home. I hope you all enjoyed this post and are inspired to make your own sign. Let me know in the comments what you think, and don’t forget to tag me over on Instagram if you make your own! :)
Love, Brandi
